Creating a Connection: An eating disorder group to better understand your relationship with food

Led by Lauren Fabrizio, MPS, ATR-BC, LCAT and Jessica Kosciewicz, MS, RD An 8-week series providing education to help participants explore their relationship with food and how it connects to their emotions, bodies and social interactions. This installment of the group will include a specific focus on body image. The group is facilitated by an art therapist and a registered dietitian in a small group setting. This unique team approach allows clients to translate the language of their bodies and become aware of cultural messaging. From this place, the clients can work towards making active changes in this challenging area of the recovery process. The goal is for clients to leave this group feeling empowered by knowledge, skills and an improved relationship with their bodies. Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm EST starting April 5th Location: Virtual The group will accept adults 18 and older for a cost of $110 per session ($880 total for the 8 week group). Sliding scale spots are available. Lauren and Jessica have co-facilitated groups together for over a decade. They believe strongly in the mind-body connection and fusing their individual disciplines of therapy and nutrition to help clients achieve and maintain their recovery. Please contact Lauren - LFabrizioHealing@gmail.com or Jessica - jessica@jaknutritionnyc.com with inquiries or to sign up for this group. -- Lauren Fabrizio, MPS, ATR-BC, LCATCreative Arts Therapy www.laurenfabrizio.com IG: @laurenfabrizio "We all have extraordinary coded within us, waiting to be released."
