A Latina may be all of these things and more if she so chooses, but she is more than the what the standard placed on the image of a Latina. Latina Made Not Maid reminds us that we are more and can be everything and anything we want to be. They changed the conversation and the standard view of what a Latina is. They widened the lens to all that a Latina is, a nurturer, a caregiver, an educator, an artist, a mother, a wife, a BOSS!
