Selfie Saturdays serve to remind you that you are of the upmost important at all times and how to make it work within our very complex lives.
We are all super women. We wear many hats! We are someone to everyone. The care taker, the doctor, the nurse, the maid, the enforcer, the teacher, the healer, the coach, the cheerleader, the .... and the list goes on. This is why we deserve to be treated with so much love! So much respect! WE should be treated as the most highest on a pedestal. We need to be cared for, supported, loved, treated gently. And we must all do this for ourselves first and foremost and then those around us to follow. BE gentle with yourself always. Be understanding. Be appreciative and grateful for all that you do. We must demand that those around us appreciate and are grateful for us as well. And we do so not by bitching, not by pointing fingers, not by wanting to change others around us, but by being the example. By setting a standard and the tone by not accepting any less than we deserve. You set the tone by putting your boundaries, making your choices, and most of all placing and believing in your own value and worthiness.
